Health and wellbeing

dogs running

All cats and dogs must be vaccinated and up-to-date with their yearly boosters.

We also ask that dogs are vaccinated against Infectious Bronchitis (Kennel Cough) at least two weeks before coming into the kennels. Most Kennel Cough vaccines are now valid for 12 months but please check with your vet as they do vary.

It's a good idea to double check that all vaccinations are valid a couple of weeks before your pet is due to come to stay. This will allow time for a visit to the vet if necessary.

We'll need to see the vaccination card of all pets on arrival.

Please also ensure your pet is wormed regularly and has a good flea and tick programme.

Medication and treatment

If your pet needs medication we are happy to administer it at no extra charge. Medication must be labelled with clear instructions from your vet.

Veterinary cover

We have 24-hour veterinary cover, if required.

Our daily charges include veterinary insurance (for dogs and cats under 10 years of age) which covers up to a maximum of £250 for any medical problems which may arise during your pet's stay with us.

However this will not cover any existing medical problems. If your pet does have an existing problem you'll need to tell us about it when booking them in with us.

If you are concerned about your dog or cat's diet, please let us know. If you wish, we can put them on a low-fat diet during their stay with us. Sorry no raw diet unless by prior arrangement.

Sorry, we don't take diabetics.
